Lib Dem Jake Perkins narrowly misses out

In the recent Harbour By- Election Lib Dem candidate Jake Perkins fell short by 77 votes losing to Labour.

Jake said, “I want to thank everyone who went out and voted - it’s important to make sure that your voice is heard. It was really great to have such a positive responses from so many people locally - rest assured that we will continue working hard for you.

“I wish Cllr Pattinson the best in her new post. I’m proud that the Lib Dems ran an honest and positive campaign, that showed our record of action in the area, our positive vision for the West End and gave voters that truth about what goes on at Council.” 

The Results were: Jake Perkins (Lib Dems) 479, Labour 555 [Elected], Conservatives 124.
